Ball valve seat and PTFE Seal rings

The most common fluoropolymer application is used as sealing material for Valves. We provide valve seats,seat inserts, thrust washers and backup rings, stem packings by wide range of materials, such as PTFE, filled PTFE, TFM , PCTFE, PEEK，Vespel®, PCTFE, PI, Nylon and Acetal.

Material Choice	Main Properties	Temperature Range
Virgin PTFE	Very low coefficient of friction and excellent chemical resistance.	-40°C to 260°C
15% and 25% Glass Filled PTFE	Decreased compressive strength and lower deformation under load than virgin PTFE. Better wear resistance, higher compressive strength and lower deformation under load.	-40°C to 260°C
5%,15% and 25% Carbon Filled PTFE	Improved mechanical strength compared with virgin PTFE. Excellent wear properties, retains excellent frictional properties, good choice for seals and rings in dynamic and high-pressure applications	-40°C to 260°C
5% MoS2 Filled PTFE	Increased PTFE properties of hardness and wear resistance. Increased sliding properties and decrease friction.	-40°C to 260°C
Stainless Steel Filled PTFE	Extremely hard wearing. Excellent strength and stability under extreme loads and elevated temperatures.	-40°C to 260°C
TFM Series	Much denser polymer structure than Virgin PTFE. Displays better stress recovery.	-80°C to 260°C
PCTFE	Ideal sealing material for lower temperature and high pressure, good mechanical properties. Excellent for LNG, Cryogenic and Oxygen use.	-240°C to 120°C
PEEK	Excellent chemical resistance and mechanical properties at elevated temperatures.	-40°C to 260°C
Carbon Filled PEEK	Many similar properties to Virgin PEEK. Particularly suitable for elevated temperatures and high load situations.	-40°C to 260°C
PFA	Excellent chemical and temperature resistance, electrical insulation properties	-100°C to +260°C
UHMWPE	Highly resistant to corrosive chemicals, with the exception of oxidising acids and organic solvents.	-60°C to +80°C
Acetal and Delrin	Good resistance to wear and deformation under load.	up to 80°C
PI (Polyimide)	Significantly higher modulus, excellent wear and friction properties, good thermal-oxidative stability and high mechanical strength	up to 320°C
